1. Why should I join Kiwanis instead of just volunteering on my own? We get asked this a lot! One huge benefit of joining our club is that we’ll organize the events for you, so all you need to do is sign up. Our members also enjoy volunteering with the same people and creating lifelong friendships. Besides volunteering, Kiwanis provides opportunities for you to be a leader, visit other Kiwanis clubs around the world, and get behind an international mission beyond just giving back in Denver.
2. What are my dues used for? Your annual dues support a number of initiatives across international, district, and club levels. The money goes toward supporting the overall organization (such as administrative costs, staff, youth protection, insurance, and club resources) and supporting local and global service initiatives like service leadership programs for kids.
